A new Queens Library is coming to Hunters Point! To celebrate this exciting development, the Friends of Hunters Point Library and the Uni Project, a nonprofit initiative, are partnering to bring the Uni’s pop-up library temporarily to Gantry State Park at Center Boulevard and 48th Avenue in Long Island City, on Saturday, September 22 from 10am-3pm. Admission is free.

The new library, which will be built adjacent to Gantry State Park, will be 21,500 square feet, and is being designed by internationally lauded architect Steven Holl.
